One in ten passengers has had sex in an airport before they even get on a plane, a new survey has revealed. While only 8% of people said they have joined the Mile High Club, 42% have had a sexual encounter in a public bathroom and 28% used a closet. A total of 14% of people got intimate under a coat while 12% did it in an airport lounge. However, despite the large number of people using their spare time before a flight to have sex, only 17% claimed they had been caught by airport staff. The survey was conducted by flight shopping website Jetcost, which collected the results from 4,915 American participants aged 18 or older who had flown at least once over the past two years. The website quizzed passengers about how they spend their free time in airports before boarding a flight.
