The 1975's Matty Healy Says 'Notes On A Conditional Form' Is 'Coming Soon'

2016 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival - Weekend 2 - Day 3

It's no secret that The 1975 was planning on dropping its fourth full-length album Notes on a Conditional Form, but we might be getting it even sooner than expected. After playing a rousing set at Coachella on Saturday (April 13), the band's frontman Matty Healy took to Twitter to let fans know that the new album is "coming soon," followed by revealing the Notes on a Conditional Form album art.

During an interview backstage at Coachella, the singer gave a little more information about the forthcoming album.

“I don’t even know if we’re going to put a single out first. I don’t know. We might just drop the whole record. I haven’t figured it out, but I don’t think that we need to figure it out," he explained. "And I don’t think our fans or people in this world need that kind of stuff figured out. We’ll just do it when it feels right. But there will be a build up to it like there always is.”

Could this be the build up he was referring to? Only time will tell. But regardless of when (or how) they release the next project, fans can take joy in the fact that they'll be getting more music from The 1975 in 2019.
