Foo Fighters, Beck And Spoon Set To Play Inaugural Intersect Festival

Las Vegas has a new festival in town, and it looks like an interesting one. Intersect will be setting up shop on the strip near the Stratosphere December 6-7, boasting a lineup that includes Foo Fighters, Kacey Musgraves, Beck, and Anderson .Paak as headliners, plus Brandi Carlile, CHVRCHES, Flying Lotus, Gesaffelstein, H.E.R., Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Leon Bridges, Spoon, Thundercat, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and even more TBA.

The diverse lineup was curated with a specific mindset. According to Intersect's website: "We’re more focused on showcasing inspiring musicians and storytellers than checking off genre boxes. Across multiple custom stages, rock, indie, R&B, hip-hop, dance, and country artists intersect in spaces built with their sound and culture in mind."

The festival concept plays with this notion, including everything from art installations to giant ball pits, Intersect is all about experience. "Explore 1 million square feet of our custom-built sensory playground, featuring an immersive dome, megastructures, arcade, with innovative art throughout," the website promises. It even boasts a culinary aspect, offering local gourmet cuisine with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Tickets go on sale Friday (August 16) at 12pm PST. Find more info here and check out the full phase one lineup below.
