Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Silence On Kanye West Amid Mental Health Concerns

Caitlyn Jenner isn’t going to bad mouth Kanye West and her recent appearance on Good Morning Britain was proof of that.

On Monday (August 3), the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 70, made an appearance on the morning show and was asked if she has spoken to her son-in-law since his headline-making presidential rally. The answer is no. Yet, Jenner had nothing but kind words for the rapper. "Since all of this has come down, I have just kind of watched it just like everybody else," Jenner replied. "So, I just wish him the best."

Jenner joked with paparazzi about texting West to be his VP, but emphasized during her appearance that the intent behind the messages was just playful. "I made that as a joke about being his VP when he announced that," she said. "But I hope for the best for him. He's a really good guy."

She went on to speak about their relationship, despite her severed ties with the Kardashian family. "The only thing I can talk about is really how he treated me through everything and he has been the most kind, loving human being and so good to me throughout the years and especially going through everything I've been going through in the last five years," she continued. "He's been such a good friend. He has been extremely supportive."

While Jenner hasn't spoken to West, the rapper did finally reunite with wife, Kim Kardashian, for an emotional day at his ranch in Cody, Wyoming, a reconciliation that was prompted by some convincing from Justin Bieber. "The meeting was extremely emotional as the couple has a lot to work through now and most importantly making sure Kanye is healthy," a source recently told ET of the meeting. "Kim is still very upset with Kanye but she knows she needs to focus on him getting better. Kim plans to do whatever she can to help Kanye get the help he needs."
