MGK Recruits Travis Barker For Explosive Debut Performances At 2020 AMAs

Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker thrashed the 2020 AMAs!

The rapper-turned-rocker hit the stage at the American Music Awards for the first time on Sunday night (November 22) to perform not one, but two songs from his new album, Tickets to My Downfall.

The singer-songwriter enlisted the help of Blink-182’s legendary drummer, Barker, for an explosive presentation of “Bloody Valentine” and “My Ex’s Best Friend.” Making the performance even more special, MGK was introduced by none other than his girlfriend, actress Megan Fox.

With his pink guitar in hand, MGK rocked out as Barker banged on the drums in front of a high school-themed stage design. “In my head, in my head/ I couldn't hear anything you said, but/ In my head, in my head/ I'm callin' you "girlfriend," what the f—k?” the 30-year-old sings on “Bloody Valentine” while shredding on his guitar, drawing applause from the crowd.

This was a big night for MGK in more ways than one, as the musician also made his relationship with Fox official when the new couple appeared on the red carpet together ahead of the show. (See photo below.)

It’s a huge step for the pair, who have taken their relationship to the next level since kindling their romance in May. "They are in a committed relationship and it's not just a fling. They are planning a future together," an insider previously told PEOPLE, adding that the couple "spend as much time together as they can" and are "doing great" together.
