At the age of 19, the unnamed patient found hairs growing on the gums of her mouth. Doctors removed the hair and diagnosed her with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) then prescribed her with birth control pills. PCOS causes excessive male hormones.
When she was 25, she came back into the clinic with more hair.
